Assemblymember Frazier Issues Statement on State of the Judiciary Address
Sacramento, CA – Today, Assemblymember Jim Frazier (D-Oakley) made the following statement in response to the 2014 State of the Judiciary Address given by Chief Justice Tani G. Cantil-Sakauye.
“I applaud the Chief Justice on her ambition to promote democracy by supporting diversity, accessibility and transparency within the judicial system.
California’s courts play an integral role in ensuring justice for all citizens, and the judicial branch has maintained an excellent work ethic in the wake of severe budget cuts. I look forward to collaborating with the Chief Justice and my colleagues in the Legislature to support funding and create a plan to help provide equality in legal access for all Californians.”
