Friday, January 13, 2017

Sacramento, CA – Today, Assemblymember Frazier (D – Oakley) reacted to the news that the Air Force has finally decided to bring 24 new KC-46A Pegasus refueling tankers to Travis Air Force Base:

“I am pleased to hear that the Air Force has given Travis AFB the honor of taking on this new important refueling mission. I had the unique privilege last year of leading a coalition from the California Legislature to urge the Air Force to consider Travis AFB for the new KC-46A Pegasus refueling tankers. This decision amplifies Travis’ role and reputation in the Defense Department as a top-tier base and I could not be more proud of all the amazing work being done by these incredible men and women.”

Assemblymember Frazier represents the 11th Assembly District, which includes the communities of Antioch, Bethel Island, Birds Landing, Brentwood, Byron, Collinsville, Discovery Bay, Fairfield, Isleton, Knightsen, Locke, Oakley, Pittsburg (partial), Rio Vista, Suisun City, Travis AFB, Vacaville and Walnut Grove.
