(Sacramento) – Assemblymember Jim Frazier (D-Oakley), Chair of the Assembly Transportation Committee, stood with Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Paramount), Gov. Jerry Brown and leaders from California’s political, business and labor communities to rally in support of Senate Bill 1, the landmark transportation investment package to fix our roads, freeways and bridges in communities across California and put more dollars toward transit and safety. “We have worked tirelessly over the last two years to determine the needs of the state, develop a plan that meets the need and create safeguards to ensure that these resources can never be moved or diverted to other purposes,” Assemblymember Frazier told the boisterous crowd.
