Assemblymember Frazier: We Must Provide for Californians with Special Needs (Sacramento) - Assemblymember Jim Frazier (D-Discovery Bay), chair of the Assembly Select Committee on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, criticized the State Budget adopted by the Legislature for not doing enough for Californians with special needs. “The census of the special needs population continues to grow,” Assemblymember Frazier said. “With such an underserved population we need to make a concerted effort to catch back up and give this population the dignity and self-esteem they deserve to be successful.” For more, watch this Assembly Access video. http://www.asmdc.org/frazier
