(Sacramento) – Thousands of people die every year because of distracted drivers. California State Assemblymember Jim Frazier (D-Oakley) knows first-hand the pain of losing a loved one from a car accident that didn’t have to happen. As a lawmaker, Assemblymember Frazier has made it his mission to make our roadways safer. That’s why he authored Assembly Concurrent Resolution 52, which declares April 2015 as “Distracted Driving Awareness Month.” Getting distracted drivers to pay attention to the road shouldn’t just be on our minds in April, but all year long.
